Tips for Choosing a Custom Home Builder
Below are some of the tips that we recommend any customer perform prior to building a custom home whether using Kaufman Homes or someone else.
- Call or visit the website for the Construction Contractors Board (CCB) to make sure the custom home builder is licensed and bonded and how long they have been in business.
- Be careful about getting more than on bid from different builders, with the idea of taking the lowest price. Most builders should be very competitive in price so make sure they are bidding on the same set of specifications.
