Costs to operate a business must always have an expenditure category which is repair and maintenance. At Kaufman Commercial we are known to build structures which will be cost effective, efficient to operate and are low maintenance on the interior as well as the exterior. We want the repair, maintenance and replacement categories in the overhead budget to be small to allow for more profits as well as requiring less attention of time.
Build and Design Process for Commercial Buildings
Our build and design process follows basically the same system as our Custom home design and build system with the exception the designs are mostly done by licensed architects who usually orchestrate the entire project along with structural engineers, civil engineers, interior designers and the contractor all working toward a sustainable design that fits within the customers budget model.
The main differences between Residential construction and commercial construction are the different building codes which have been developed for the public’s benefit in fire, life and safety.
Light Commercial Contruction
Light commercial construction fits into our Kaufman Home model as light commercial buildings are usually built very similar to our residential projects and are typically referred to as stick built rather than large concrete or steel structures.
